The Canyon View Foundation is very excited to announce that we hired a PE Instructional Assistant, Ryan Rogers at Canyon View. Thanks to continued parent support of Foundation fundraisers, we were able to add this position to supplement instruction already being done by our Canyon View teachers. Ryan is a Canyon View Dad that many kids know as the Neon Ninja from our jog-a-thon. He has two kids, Noah and Maryn, who are both attending Canyon View Elementary School. Ryan was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado but has lived in San Diego for the last 15 years.  He met his wife Christine in San Diego, and they have been married 10 years. He graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, and from Ball State University with a Master’s degree in Sport Biomechanics.  He also holds multiple certifications in the exercise field.  Ryan has a passion for fitness and health, and has worked in that field for the last 20 years.  Ryan currently works as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and personal trainer at Fitness Quest 10, one of the top 10 gyms in the nation, where he has worked for 15 years.  He has worked with all levels of people helping them find ways to become more healthy.  He is looking forward to being a part of the Canyon View Team and helping the kids discover how much fun it is to be active. Please congratulate Ryan when you see him.
